Five Points Jazz in the Park - Returning to Curtis Park THIS FRIDAY

This Friday, Join us for Five Points Jazz in the Park at Cousins Plaza - Sonny Lawson Park, 2401 Welton Street. Our first performers of the series begin May 1st from 530-7pm featuring The Elisa Garcia Quartet.

The Elisa Garcia Quartet plays Latin American folk songs from Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, down to Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. Bringing rhythms like huapango, boleros, cumbias, zambas, and candombes, the quartet takes listeners on a journey through Latin America. The Uruguayan singer/guitarist is accompanied by her husband, Mexican percussionist Leo Munoz-Corona, (who has toured with artists like Willie Colon, Jaguares, Lucero, Juanes and many more), renowned Venezuelan pianist, Victor Mestas, and bassist Luis Prato.
