The VOA on the 2800 block of Lawrence St is changing its operating model and the type of service they offer.  As of last week they have stopped serving lunches.  Their former clients have been referred to other service providers that offer additional services besides meals.  

Toni will attend the Feb or March Curtis Park Connects so please hold any questions until then.

Mission Community Center to Transition into Family-Focused Hub

Denver, CO — September 30, 2025 — It has been a true honor to serve our community through the Mission Community Center. As we continue to respond to evolving community needs and funding realities, we are excited to announce a new chapter in our journey.

The Mission Daytime Community Center will officially discontinue current operations on Friday, October 3, 2025, as we prepare to relaunch with a renewed focus on family programming and prevention services.

In November 2025, we will proudly reopen as the Mission Family Community Center (MFCC) — a dynamic one-stop shop for families seeking access to benefits, resources, and support. This transformation reflects our commitment to strengthening families and building a more resilient community.

Stay tuned for updates on our GRAND Reopening and the expanded services we’ll offer to meet the needs of families across Five Points/RiNo and beyond.
