Hi Neighbors,

This is a great time to get a free tree and have it planted for you! You need to have room in the tree lawn/right-of-way/hell strip, that’s all. Have a look and help the Curtis Park Neighbors Tree Committee by requesting a tree so we can continue to increase the shade in Curtis Park. We want to keep our neighborhood cool, especially as the temperatures rise.

If you have questions don’t hesitate to email me: lynnebrown001@gmail. com

Here’s to more trees in Curtis Park!!!

Spring Into Climate Action:
Get a Free Tree Planted on Your Street

With spring upon us, it’s the perfect opportunity to add shade and greenery to your street! Denver Parks and Recreation and the Denver Office of the City Forester are now accepting applications for free trees. And better yet, they will plant the tree for you.

Who can apply (and where trees are planted)
  • Anybody living in the City and County of Denver
  • Trees are planted in the public right-of-way

Why it matters
By requesting a free tree, you're supporting Denver's climate resilience. Trees:
  • Cool our neighborhoods
  • Reduce the urban heat island effect
  • Improve air quality.

This program is part of a city initiative to expand Denver's urban tree canopy for a greener, more resilient city.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
