Theatre Of Passion
The echoes of the Prithvi Theatre Festival have barely died down, and a line-up of 15 plays is ready for the second Rangshila Theatre Festival, that has the apt tag line, Junoon Ka Rangmanch.
It's just the second edition of the festival, but the passionate-about-theatre, Avneesh Mishra, who runs Rangshila, has got the biggest and best theatre groups from the city performing at the venue, which is warm, welcoming, yet casual. Everyone from Makrand Deshpande's Ansh to stand-up comic, Zakir Hussain.
It was a constant complaint with Mumbai's theatre folk that there aren't enough small and affordable venues in the city, and Rangshila had filled that void to some extent.
From November 26 to December 10, Andheri's Aaram Nagar will be buzzing with stage productions new and old!
And while this is wrapping up, the Thespo Youth Festival 2027 will spark up. This year will go out with a bang!
