Job Description:
• Analyze business process and identifying automation opportunities and assess automation feasibility.
• Analyzing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
• Design and Develop applications using Pega PRPC 7.X, J2EE and Oracle Technologies.
• Follows established coding standards and techniques, assists with establishing standards
• Conducts code reviews with peers and management
• Works with Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, and Integration Testing teams to ensure quality code that meets the functional requirements
• Works with off shore development teams. Acts as a technical resource for junior team members
• Involved in integrating on-shore and off-shore code
• Shows a strong attention to development detail, produces high-quality code
• Creates processes and procedures with input from business teams, development, and IT Support.
• Maintains proficiency and develops expertise in the application and use of systems, tools, and processes within the department's scope
• Maintains proficiency and develops expertise in the business processes that drive the applications within the department’s scope
• Utilizes design patterns that comply with security policies and guidelines
Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field required
• 6+ or more years of software development experience required
• 4 or more years of development experience with Pega including PRPC 6.x/7.x
• Experience with PRPC 7.1, working knowledge of Pega CPM Framework
• PRPC CSSA Certification is must
• Detailed Knowledge of PRPC design and implementation topics including :- Rules, Class Design, Security, Flows, Adapters, Services and Connectors
• Working knowledge and experience in Java, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient understanding of SDLC process desired
• Skill in diagnosing and solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis
• Solid experience with objected oriented programming, Web Services Implementation
• XML, Web Services, HTTP, SOAP, REST, SQL, and DBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)
