Job Description:
The DevOps Architect is a critical role within the RH Infrastructure Engineering team, responsible for:
• Deploying and maintaining the operability and performance of our applications running in the cloud
• Designing and developing automation to support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
• Operational and security monitoring and care for the infrastructure and software platforms
• Serving as the liaison between Engineering, Corporate IT, and external cloud providers for reliable frictionless deployment, operational efficiency, HA and performance and security
• This role will also serve as a backup for our eCommerce Operations Team

Requirements
• Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CICD), DevOps, SysAdmin or System Administration, Python, and Java
• Certification as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified DevOps Engineer a strong plus
• Experience in Application lifecycle/release management and Agile methodology
• Experience with Cloud Formation, Route 53, Git/BitBucket, Bamboo, Jira, VPC, VPN, Docker containers
• Kubernetes awareness a strong plus
• Linux administration and bash scripting
• Ability to query databases with general understanding of database administration a plus
• Familiarity with integrating security models in cloud environments
• Good written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
