Location: Summit, NJ - (3 days/week Oniste) 

Duration: Long term

 

8+ years overall SAP experience, with 5+ years hands-on SAP MDG (MDG-M / MDG-S / MDG-C / MDG-F).

  • Strong expertise in:
    • MDG data modeling, UI modeling, workflow
    • BRF+ (validations/derivations/rules)
    • DRF and integration patterns (IDoc / OData / APIs / PI/PO or CPI)
    • SAP S/4HANA data structures and governance concepts
  • Demonstrate strong understanding and hands-on experience across core MDG frameworks, including:
    • Central Governance
    • Consolidation and Mass Processing
    • Data Quality Management (DQM)
  • Proven experience operating in an AMS/support model, including:
    • Incident/Problem/Change processes, prioritization, and RCA
    • Release management in support, regression coordination, and documentation/runbooks
    • Working with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow/Jira) and ITIL-style practices
  • Strong leadership skills to guide technical teams and coordinate across multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills; confident engaging senior business and IT stakeholders.

Nice to have (Preferred)

  • Consumer Products experience (product attributes, hierarchies, retail/distribution, trade, supply chain integration).
  • SAP BTP and integration services: CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, or extension patterns.
  • Experience with MDG capabilities like Consolidation/Mass Processing, duplicate checks, search, and data quality tooling.
  • Familiarity with AIF, SLT, Fiori for MDG, and automation/monitoring approaches.
  • Experience supporting regulated controls (e.g., SOX/GxP/GDPR) where applicable.

Working model / Support expectations

  • Participation in on-call rotation for critical production issues (as needed).
  • Ability to support releases/maintenance windows outside business hours occasionally.
