Dear 5th Grade Parents,
The Curie 5th graders have been looking forward to the 5th grade Curie science right of passage activity all year... the squid dissection. :-) Fifth graders will be dissecting squid this week and next week during their science lab time. A guest scientist from NOAA, Dale Sweetnam (a former Curie parent) will be coming to lead the classes through the dissection. The fifth graders have been studying living systems. This dissection will provide an opportunity to see the systems of the squid and compare them to the systems of humans and plants that have already been studied this year.
