Enjoy Family Science Night?
Have ideas?
Want to help?

The science committee needs you! Our mission is to bring fun hands-on science experiences to the children at Curie.

Your commitment can be as small as giving one idea or a box of gloves, or as big as helping on Family Science Night.

All you have to do is sign up on our Yahoo group site and offer your ideas or time when you can. We have meetings once a month, but you do not have to attend them to be a science committee member.

Please help our kids experience science in a fun and interactive way.

Our next new endeavor is a Robotics and Leadership program for Curie.
 - First Lego League is coming to our school!

FLL info night is Wednesday, May 1st at 6pm in the auditorium - bring the kids!

Come find out how much fun your kids can have while learning to think like scientists, find solutions to real-world problems, program robots, work on a team, design logos and t-shirts, and practice presentation skills.

We will have kids and adults from Jr FLL teams (grades 1-3) and FLL teams (grades 4 & 5) to show off their robots and answer questions. Also, the championship Preuss school robotics team has agreed to mentor our kids and will be at the info night with a FIRST prototype robot... and of course there will be Legos.

Bring your girls! Some of the Preuss school robotics girls will be there to tell your girls why this is not just about programming and legos and why girls in FLL have a great time.
