Get involved with the campaign to end slavery in 2026!

.New Year Announcement

With new leadership from a prominent organizer and local elected official, the growing movement to abolish slavery in Minnesota is entering 2026 with a powerful vision and renewed energy. In June 2025, Chauntyll Allen joined the statewide campaign to remove slave labor from the state’s constitution and its prisons — and in December she stepped up as the Executive Director of the End Slavery in Minnesota Coalition.

.Coming Up This Week .

Whether you’ve been part of the campaign already or new to the movement, join us for an energizing ALL campaign meeting this Wednesday! In addition to committee updates and opportunities to connect with other campaign leaders, we'll be gearing up for our 2026 Kick-Off Party coming up on January 24 — and we need YOUR support! As folks in recovery, we know our community is powerful — and our voices and leadership are essential to creating a better future for ALL of us. So join the End Slavery in Minnesota coalition for a panel discussion with experts, organizers and folks who are justice-impacted and in recovery to learn more and get involved in the growing movement to end slave wages for incarcerated workers!

Join the K-12 Committee to learn about tools to discuss prison labor and mass incarceration with youth, see a short film about the impact of the carceral system on families — and get involved with other educators, youth advocates and young leaders to end slavery in Minnesota!

.Mark Your Calendar!.

Join the End Slavery in MN coalition as we launch our 2026 legislative effort to remove slavery from the state constitution. Hear from campaign leaders and legislative champions — and learn how you can get involved!
