Come join us for this in-person town hall event in Champaign/Urbana. We'll be having lively discussions about new and proven solutions to end gun violence in our great state as we hear from community leaders and elected officials about efforts locally and statewide to reduce violence.
Among the topics will be:
- The RIFL Act (Illinois HB3320/SB2279)
- Community Violence Intervention/Street Outreach
- Community Policing
Speakers will include:
- Champaign Mayor Deb Feinen
- Urbana Mayor DeShawn Williams
- Urbana Police Chief Larry Boone
- State Rep. Carol Ammons
A Q&A session, along with a discussion of networking opportunities, will follow the presentations.
