By Anand Chaurasia Bangalore Sign the Petition Collecting toll from commutors to & fro Kempe Gowda Int. Airport is unjustified. An airport is attached to a city and nowhere in India or in the World, one has to pay road toll going to or coming from the airport. The Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad has 11.5kms elevated flyover upto Banjara Hills which is the heart of the city. There is no road toll charged. In Mumbai, commutors use the express highway to reach the Chatrapati Shivaji International airport, there is no road toll collected. Same is the case for Delhi, Kolkatta, Lucknow, Dehra Dun, or anywhere. So why are Bangaloreans penalised for going to their airport to receive their loved ones when they arrive. We should rise and sign this petition to the Chief Minister of Karnataka to stand up for the Bangaloreans. Abolish road toll to KGIA.
