Hi everyone,
I am writing to check in about analytics for Curatescape. I recently finished a pilot proof-of-concept phase in Rhode Island currently called "Rhode Tour." We had a preview event for community stakeholders and tourism professionals last week where we received a lot of great feedback about who might use our app (Rhode Tour) and how they would use it. Before we get too far ahead of ourselves planning for the next round of "tours" to develop, we clearly need to develop a plan for capturing analytics. It's my understanding (though I could be wrong) that we can only access analytics for the web component, and not the app. I believe that's planned for the next update of the app? Is there a timeline for that?

We have begun to map out our approach to analytics, and I'm wondering if anyone else has done the same. If so, the team in Rhode Island would love to connect with you as we begin to develop knowledge around this. If you haven't yet done this work, but are interested in our findings, then we are happy to share with the community.

Rhode Tour is a partnership program between RI Council for the Humanities, Brown University, and RI Historical Society. We will be working with a team from Bryant University's Center for Advanced Applied Analytics to develop the analytics framework.

Thanks!

Hi Sue:
I added you to the reports for the “app reports,” for a daily report. We can also export (from our control panel) an excel spreadsheet with your daily downloads over a period of time. We’re working on more detailed analytics as well. Also, I recommend activating your Google Analytics for the website, if you have not done so already. Erin Bell <e.j.b...@csuohio.edu> can help you with details on that if you need assistance.
best
