Hello all,
Our project
Explore Baltimore Heritage is based around our work as a non-profit preservation organization so unlike some other projects we do not have a group of students who are working on or contributing Curatescape stories on a regular schedule.
Instead, we've pulled together materials we've written in house for tours and advocacy projects, contributions from individual historians and a few partnerships with professors from local colleges & universities with positive but mixed results. To try to help improve the experience for our contributors and improve the consistency of their work, I'm working on two new resources -
a set of guidelines for individual contributors and
a set of guidelines for course instructors working with Explore Baltimore Heritage. Anyone from this list who is interested can view and comment on either document at those Google Docs links above.
Has anyone else prepared similar materials to help guide student or independent historians who may want to contribute to your project? I'd love to see them if you're willing to share.
Thanks for your help!
Eli
