Regarding adding support of scipy.optimize in CuPy

Hi Everyone,

I am Ishan currently a fourth year student in Aerospace Department, IITB. I work in Structures lab over here and we were getting stuck over a problem which requires a parallel and GPU compatible version of scipy.optimize. 

I was going through with CuPy however, I saw that it currently doesn't supports scipy.optimize.

I was thinking of taking up it as a task to implement scipy.optimize support in CuPy as a semester long project, any heads on if that could be possible or not and could someone maybe guide me as I am quite new to this.
