Come play some Ultimate in Jan 31/Feb 1.

BUYA/OAK/BADA are looking to get critical mass for a combined club
team in a few weeks to help fill out our inaugural Bay Area Youth Club
Invite in Livermore on January 31 - February 1. We are looking for
more teams for the tournament and while it seems a stretch at this
point to get a single club team to field a full team, we’re asking the
larger community to come together and create a combined 'HAT' team or
two to help make this tournament happen. 2-3 GAMES WOULD LIKELY RUN
EACH DAY BETWEEN 10AM-3PM. Will also be a fun opportunity to get some
high level reps and play with your friends that you usually compete
against.

We currently have three high level WMP youth teams and four high level
MMP trans committed including Seven Hills who have bought plane
tickets, so making this work in some form is very important for there
being a future for this tournament. We are at a critical moment for
youth ultimate as USAU has limited our ability to attend college
sanctioned tournaments, but there aren't really enough established
youth tournaments yet to fill the void.

Ideally if we can create two more WMP teams and one MMP team, but even
one WMP team would help enormously. Here is the ask: Can you each
forward this email and linked spreadsheet to your teams and other
contacts and let us know if you want to come play some Ultimate
together by either adding your names to the spreadsheet, or replying
with what number of female-matching and male-matching players might be
interested in joining for one or both days of the tournament? We would
love to have you even if only for one of the two days.

If we could somehow get 30+ players and create two teams that would be
amazing. 15+ for one team would still work with one less pool play
game, which seems very manageable, but still might take some work. The
tournament fee would be optional and minimal as you are very much
helping us out, so no one should worry about cost.

Please get the word out. We'd like to be able to tell Seven Hills by
end of day Monday that we have at least a fourth team.
