Hi folks!

During our " garage reclamation project" I found that I still had a certain amount of discs/ frisbees in a box. I still would be keeping two or three cool ones but the rest are up for grabs, please see picture. Back in the day or year. My case, this was only maybe a quarter of my collection.
Some of these were from my freestyling days in lower Sproul at UC Berkeley. I could go on with a few stories but never mind.
Let me know if you are interested. You got to take the whole batch

Thanks,
Al

Ok ,

 got some good responses,

One of the folks I shared a little disc lore :

Yes , the black ones were the early 170g (if I remember correctly) that preceded Discraft coming on.
Ok , here's a story , around '75 after graduating I spent a lot of time at Lower sproul. I met up with Vincent Malafronte ( look him up, early distance champ at World Fribee Games). He  would freestyle with the bigger discs, they would spin longer. Anyways he was working with Wham-O on that disc, and gave me one. They were cool , no stamping , no silk screen , just clean smooth plastic. But I used that one until it died a proper disc death.

BTW, Vince Malafronte distance record throws ( with 145gs I beleive) legitimized the forehand though , I think it was highly poo-pooed at the time,
I will try to make it to Thursday' CULTT game , then they can be parted out.

Suresh gets first pick since he replied first.

thanks, and thanks for the years of Ultimate , wish I was still playing , but retired guys have even less time ....( how would have thought )

Ok I will let you and SUresh work that out …

Yeah go bears. !!!

Here is another tidbit for the CAL-knowing:

Sometimes when throwing discs in Lower Sproul a disc would find its way onto that little balcony that sticks out front of Zellerbach ( do they still call it that)
Auditorium. At that time there were tables and chairs from the cafeteria that was right by there.
BTW the overhang from the eatery above the cafe was where the congo players would play ,ah other times.
Anyways we would get tables and chairs stack, yeah young and stupid, to fetch our disc.

Throw free and easy,
Al

I want that one, if it's not already claimed.

Perhaps Suresh can grab it for me and bring it to the Cubberly game we both frequent.
