The school report includes everything that comes from your high school or college counselor, including your academic records, predicted testing results, counselor recommendation, school profile, and mid-year report.
Academic records would include transcripts, which are a record of your academic accomplishments, including every course you took, when you took each course, and the grades you received and how to submit them
NYUAD will accept official or unofficial transcripts and test scores for the purposes of the application review process.
NYU has extended the test-optional policy for the 2023-2024 cycle. Students who elect to submit testing as part of their application to NYU Abu Dhabi, should review our Standard Testing Requirements here and submit official score reports or predicted scores.
English Language Testing
All NYU students must have a strong command of the English language to be successful in a fast-paced, rigorous academic environment. If English is not your native language, we recommend you submit results from an English language testing exam.
To be considered official, all documents (including academic transcripts) require an original signature of the registrar or other designated school official, or the institution's seal. If a document isn't in English, then a translation should be provided (a school official or a translation agency accredited in your country can issue the translation). All official testing should come from the relevant examination board or testing agency.
Note: Transcripts and test scores must come from an official source to be processed. Use your name exactly as it appears on your passport or birth certificate on your application and supporting documents.
We do not accept results from the IELTS Indicator, the TOEFL ITP Plus for China, TOEFL Essentials, or the PTE Academic Online. We also do not accept TOEFL iBT "My Best" scores or IELTS One Skill Retake. If you took the TOEFL iBT or IELTS, please send us your result from the test wherein you received the highest composite score.
Additional exams may be added at a later time. Please refer to our English Language policy before applying and/or taking any exams to ensure your test scores will satisfy our application requirements.
If you are unable to submit official results for any test except the Duolingo English Test, you can alternatively self-report unofficial results or upload unofficial test result documents to your portal after you apply (for admissions review purposes only).

A man has tested positive for MERS-CoV in Abu Dhabi, the World Health Organization reports. So far, the 28-year-old is the only case to test positive out of 108 close contacts identified, but the WHO is urging vigilance.
"No secondary cases have been detected to date," WHO's July 24 statement reads, although the organization expects additional cases will be reported from the Middle East or other countries where the virus circulates in animal hosts.
Health authorities identified 108 close contacts of the patient, who was admitted to hospital on June 8. The 108 contacts, all healthcare workers, were monitored for 14 days post-contact, and all tests have so far come back negative.

The medical examination will include a medical history review, physical examination, and chest X-ray, gonorrhea test, and blood tests (for applicants 15 years of age or older). The United States also requires tuberculosis (TB) testing for all applicants two years of age and older. Please be prepared to discuss your medical history, medications you are taking, and current treatments you are undergoing. The NCLEX is offered at domestic and international test centers. Appointments can be scheduled online or over the phone with Pearson VUE Candidate Services. Changes to international appointments can only be done by calling Pearson VUE Candidate Services.

Fred did a great job for us in FP1. We were able to get some useful work done on his car, which will be helpful as we prepare for qualifying and the race. We're looking forward to having him back in the car for the test on Tuesday. George had a clean FP1. We were missing a lot of the reference cars, so we weren't reading too much into the timesheets. We were able to get a read on high and low fuel balance and made some changes going into the evening session.
We can send up to five additional copies of your TRF directly to institutions you are applying to (for instance universities, immigration officers, etc.) If you would like us to do this, please include the relevant addresses when you book your test.
If you have taken IELTS on computer, you will receive your results electronically only. You can download the electronic version (eTRF) from the Test Taker portal 3-6 days after your test. You can print your electronic Test Report Form (eTRF) to send it to the organisations you are applying to, or you can send it via email. Alternatively, you can send your results direct to the organisation through the Test Taker portal.
Your TRF shows a score for each of the four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking), as well as an overall band score. You can score whole band scores (for example 5.0, 6.0, 7.0) or half band scores (e.g. 5.5, 6.5, 7.5) in each section of the test.
Whether you have taken IELTS on paper or computer, organisations will usually not accept your results if they are more than two years old, unless you provide evidence that you have actively maintained or tried to improve your English since taking the test. The IELTS Partners cannot confirm the validity of test results that are more than two years old.
If you did not receive the score you expected, you can apply for your test to be re-marked. This is called an Enquiry on Results (EOR). You can choose which test sections you want to be re-marked and will need to request this at the British Council offices.
Please note that your score is unlikely to increase unless you make a significant effort to improve your English before re-taking the test. Visit our preparation section to take a practice test and assess your level.

API is now offering remote proctored exams through Prometric's remote testing platform, ProProctor. Beginning in February 2021, all non-practical API exams will be available through ProProctor in the regularly scheduled exam windows.
ProProctor allows candidates to test from home with the proper internet connection and computer setup. Scheduling for remote proctored exams is the same process as for in-person testing. Candidates can still take these exams in person at Prometric testing centers, but remotely proctored exams offers a virtual option for those interested.
