Hello All!

Now I've figured out how this groups thing works, this is the first email to all of CUOTCRUFC. In case there was any doubt, Boys and girls are both welcome and so please do spread the word and get others to join.

 

Our first ever fixture is on the 10th of February, in Cambridge. We'll be playing CUAS and CURNU in a triangular sevens touch competition. obviously we can get out a lot more than a sevens team, so I think we should try and get out two teams if enough people can make it. There are some sevens tournaments late r on in the term here in cambridge, so i reckon we'll use this as a building block to get entered into them as an invitation side.

 

I suggest we get guys from Norwich down on the 9th to have some training. I reckon I can even sort us out some fun company for the evening (what do you reckon EmJ?) On the G4 side: Who in Norwich has a car, and who in Cambridge can provide accomodation for the night? I can take 1, possibly two of either sex. I'll organise pitches for then up at Girton college.

In terms of training before then, I was thinking of having a training session before next drill night at Cambridge. If anyone at cambridge can organise pitches that are more convenient than Girton's that'd be good. We'll have the Cambridge guys train then, as for the Norwich guys, I was going to suggest we train before next drill night too, though obivously I know nothing about booking pitches and balls etc, so If anyone can arrange that please let the group know.
