Team,

Here is what's going on tomorrow.

First and foremost everyone needs to show up.  It will be quite and embarrassment if one boat can't race because of someone not showing up.  I don't know where Tennessee or Connor were today, but if they aren't there tomorrow you won't race.

Second you'll be racing in unis.  Bring them.

Starting Lineups  (Changes may be made based on performance, this workout will be taken into consideration for SIRA lineups):

N8
Sallie
Issac
Michael
James

V8

As far as the schedule goes you need to be inside the res by 6:10.  The Barry and Judy needs to be rigged port stroke.  I won't be around and I can't guarantee who if any coaches will be as we have to set the course and get the launches ready to haul people, so moderate yourselves and get it rigged quickly.

You need to be on the water and rowing by 6:40.  Pieces start in the southwest corner at 7:00am.

Your race plans are as follows:

- Start 5 High 20 Settle to a bade of 30spm
- Power 10 at about 500 in
- Rate (boat speed) lift to 31spm as you pass the 1k buoy
- 10-5-10 at 1250 (10-5-10 is a two power 10 moves with 5 focus strokes in between)
- Start Tech 10 at 1600
- After Tech 10 left rate 2 beats every 10 strokes to the finish line

I'll be trying to set a full 2k course. This means you will have to hold water as soon as you cross the finish buoy.  Your swain has already been informed to immediately spin the boat along the shore and start paddling to stretch your legs.  You'll go 1 minute up, spin and come back to the corner to line up for the next piece.

What I expect you to achieve tomorrow is rowing as you plan to at SIRA.  There can't be any times when the pressure isn't there or you aren't focused on being back in and raising off the seat.  This is your opportunity to fine tune, not to overhaul.  Most of all I expect you to spend in the first 1000.  You have to believe you won't finish each piece, but finish it.  In 5 days you line up against some of the best crews in the nation. Seize your opportunity to do what needs to be done now, so it will be old news next week.

If you have questions please ask.  I'm looking forward to you all representing our team for parents, alumni and supporters tomorrow. Get some good rest.
