Team,

This is one of those emails you should read and keep for a while to reference.

Here's the plan for practice times in the upcoming weeks:

- Tomorrow 5:30am

- 4/29-5/2 Regular 5:45am time at the res

- No practice Saturday 5/3

- 6:00am practice Sunday 5/4

- No practice Monday 5/5

- 5:15am practice Tuesday 5/6

- No practice Wednesday 5/7

- 5:15am practice Thursday 5/8

- Practice TBD Friday 5/9 (Discussion based on graduation)

- 6:00am practice 5/10

- 5:45am and a TBD PM practice from 5/12-5/14 (two-a days start on 5/12)

- PAC-12 Traveling and racing 5/15-5/18

- PM practice on 5/19

- 5:15am and TBD PM practice 5/20-5/21

- ACRA Traveling and racing 5/22-5/26

- Summerizing equipment at reservoir 10am 5/27

That's the entire schedule to the end of the year.  As stated above we'll discuss graduation day schedule and what time our PM two-a-day practice will be.  Just notice there are very few practice days remaining. I count a maximum of 23 practices remaining.  That includes mornings before travel and our PM two-a-day practices.  Make sure you form your upcoming schedule so we can get all 23 of those.

May 2k Test:

As stated in a previous email there will be no official May 2k Test Day.  Richard has mentioned to me he would like to get as many people together as possible and hopefully some coaches to test.  I'm all for that plan, but I won't set aside a water practice day for it which means it will have to be in the evening.  Everyone needs to get a test to me by 5/11. Keep in mind that the Rec is no longer open to non-summer students after 5/8 I believe. Since it is almost two weeks before they are due you should make an effort to pull 2 tests.  That will maximize you opportunity to make the PAC-12 boats as well as the best possible boat for the final ACRA lineups.

As far as finals are concerned I think I've made a fair compromise of only having 2 practices on finals days.  This means there's no more than a day without rowing, so you won't lose fitness or rowing mindset.  If you are concerned about those finals you should already be studying for them, not hoping 2 hours in the am that day will make a difference.  I'll make sure you're leaving practice by 6:45am on that Tuesday and Thursday so you'll have no issues with 7:30am finals.

If you have any questions please let me know.  We're at exactly one month until the official end of the season.  Make sure you're capitalizing on your opportunities!
