This is very difficult to use because it does not allow you to create
destination folders, move folders, or transfer files except the basic
types. Since Google lets you store any file type, the extension
mechanism limiting this should be removed in the client application.

So while it is very "FTP" like in appearance, the functionality is
really not there... yet.

1. Folders - This is a real issue. It's first on the TODO list,
hopefully it will be implemented within a week or so (upload, create &
delete. Move will come later).

2. File types - Google limits the Google Docs API to specific file
types. Only paid customers can use the Docs API to upload any file
type. Since Google allows now to upload any file type using the web
interface I hope they'll enable it in the API too soon.

Version 1.4.0 now supports copying folders (entire folder structure).

I am using 1.4, and I pay Google for storage on my account, but I am
unable to upload an mp3 file using this product. I get the strange
error message that "File extension of mp3 is recognized as valid" but
it will not transfer.

This will be a very useful tool when you work out the bugs.

Thanks

This is not a bug, it's a feature ;-)

Although paying customers have access to an API allowing to upload any
file type, the free version users do not. At the moment the
application use the 'free' API. I'll probably do something about it in
a week or so.
