(This mod has SO many features to explore, I cover a small general part after some quick testing. Just one look at the Showcase channel in the Axiom Discord shows the absolutely incredible potential of the mod)
Axiom appeared out of nowhere to an overwhelmingly positive feedback by the building community. The devs are active on the official Discord where they interact with the community and take in suggestions.
One of the most celebrated features has been the humble ability to undo with CTRL+Z. There are other keyboard shortcuts listed in the Help menu. Best part is, when going back and forth through your command history, there is a unique sweeping wind animation over your world. Be careful with the history though, as going back in time and interacting with the world seems to wipe everything you had before.
The interface is incredibly simple and the tools are intuitive to use and make building efficient. I can see parallels with the interface of World Painter, which strives to be equally user friendly. The Axiom intro tutorial (which can be restarted from the Help menu at the top) showcases the main areas of the editor:
I recently downloaded the mod "WorldEdit", which is just a mod to make creating bigger structures easier, and it would not work in the middle earth dimension. It works fine in the overworld. I asked this question on the FAQ page, and someone said that "ive found the problem now with worldedit in middle earth. its because world edit can only detect world edit in the default world."
I was wondering if this was fixable? It would be so much easier to create all the big middle earth structures, as you have encouraged with all the waypoints where they should be. I am sorry if this shoud be under bugs, but as it is relating to mod compatibility, I thought it should be here.
Or maybe you could even add some features from worldEdit into the mod. I know lots of mods that have done things like this. A way to fix it could be just making middle earth a type of world, and so before you make your world you can select "middle earth" as the world type. Most people wh play middle earth start on creative just to get to middle earth anyway, so it would save them the trouble (this has already been suggested)
WorldEdit commands give you the ability to instantly create structures, replace large amounts of blocks, and copy and paste large chunks of the world with just a few words! So let's learn how to run world edit commands in your LearnToMod server. Today we'll walk you and your child step by step through using some simple commands.

Regular Minecraft commands are prefixed with a forward slash (/). For example, if you want to summon a pig you would type /summon Pig. On the other hand, WorldEdit commands are prefixed with two forward slashes. For example, if you want to generate a stone sphere with radius 20 you would type //sphere stone 20.
Be careful, when you build a structure you end up in the center of them. So, if you build a solid structure you will get stuck. To get yourself out of the structure you can use this other WorldEdit command: //unstuck . Another useful command is //undo, which will revert the last command you executed.
Besides creating the already mentioned structures with WorldEdit commands you can also change the blocks of a predetermined area. Before running these region commands you first have to define a position 1 and a position 2. Think of these positions as the opposite corners of a box.
Now that you know about WorldEdit commands you can start and join a LearnToMod server and give it a try! If you want to know the rest of the commands just visit this page. Up next, learn more about Minecraft modding, and join a live online Minecraft coding class designed for kids:

Hi. Thanks for the article. I would love to see some integration of toollabs:ia-upload to pump data through to Wikidata to create the edition of the work at the time of upload, with the other structured data.
It is quite an onerous and repititive process, let alone adding the structured data that you desire. For what you are talking about in your blog, to me seems to be the clear opportunity to have the Commons and Wikidata items created at the beginning of the process and to have them immediately linked, pumped and primed at the beginning of the process, rather than just a possibility at the end.
The Live Querying is a really great idea and teaching instrument. Do you by any chance have a screen recording of your session? Since these are CC BY 4.0, I'm happy to provide more readable video edit. --YaguraStation (talk) 09:45, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
I am not sure if it was you or not, but the wm-bb bot used your ID and this was the first account I found through soft-redirects. Are you able to hop on IRC? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 21:59, 23 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I came across the dataset you provided on the LOD site for WD dataset. Will you illuminate the date of extraction for this set? Thank you very much for your help. ShiehJ (talk) 15:09, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
