Hi folks,

We are preparing a Grey Box Dieback leaflet - at last!

The idea is for a small 2-sized glossy leaflet, aimed at the general
public, and for free distribution.

I only want to cover the basics so this can be something accessible to the
general (non-environmental) public - for distribution at events in
particular. And perhaps a hint at the end suggesting how people can get
involved (e.g. bushcare)

We would like to recognize each group (BCC, UWS, RBG, OEH) assisting in
this issue with a text acknowledgement (all the logos simply wouldn't fit),
so if anyone has objections please let me know.

I haven't started on the details yet, but I'm keen to make sure this meets
everyone's particular needs. To this end, I would greatly appreciate
suggestions regarding:

- what aspects you would like addressed (dot points please!)
- any graphics you can contribute; and
- how many you would like!

Thanks in advance

Pete Ridgeway

P.S. If anyone is already working on a similar project, please let me know
before I start!

Hello everybody!

If you didn't actually get around to 'joining' the group yet I found a few
spare minutes (well, several...) to copy email addresses from those who
responded to me with regard to the Psyllid workshop.

*If you do not wish to remain a member of the group you are able to
terminate your membership, or if you have difficulty, message me here and I
will remove you from the members list*.

If you wish to remain, welcome! This is all I have to offer with regard to
accessible electronic bulletin board / central point of contact, so I hope
you will all find it a useful place to share information about the psyllids
in your area and the measures we are all taking to control them. Some
projects will be coming up soon that will ask for your input, and I urge
you to get involved in that.

I have set all our new members to 'digest' with regard to e-mails, so you
will need to go into your settings to change that if you want. For the
moment that was the most polite way to not be too intrusive.

Finally, if you have any news you wish to share, feel free to post to this
group - details are at the bottom of this e-mail.

Thanks for your interest.

Greg Steenbeeke - group manager and Cumberlan Plain Recovery Plan
Coordinator.
