Greg,
Further to my report
last week:
The juvenile (just
over 2m tall) E. moluccana at the corner of Leabons Lane & Seven
Hills Rd South, Seven Hills, has more intensive Lace Lerp activity now than last
week despite my having sprayed infected leaves last week with White Oil.
Activity has spread on the tree.
Another mature E.
moluccana on a private property in Seven Hills South which had been
stripped of all leaves in the last round of Lace Lerp activity has recovered in
recent weeks to have about a third of the tree with leaf cover. However, in just
this past week I have observed the uniform death of the regrowth leaves as you
would see with leaves of a branch broken off from a tree. Either the
tree has given up or it has been poisoned. I don't think it is Lace Lerp
activity due to the sudden and uniform leaf death. It is on a private property
so I can't get to within 30 metres of the tree to check
further.
Best
Wishes,
Wayne
