Greg,
In response to your
email I advise:
In Seven Hills/East
Blacktown area there has been widespread recovery of foliage.
General observation
in other areas west indicate likewise.
Tree loss had been
from 2-5%, some of which was Council removal which may have been a little hasty
given some slow recovery rates with a few trees thought
lost.
Unscrupulous
Arborists were out there telling property owners trees were dying or
dead.
Most trees have shown
high rejuvenation but those trees whick looked really bad are slower in
recovery.
I must report
that a couple of juveniles at the cnr Leabons Lane and Seven Hills Rd South and
some more mature trees at Grantham Heritage Park (71 Seven Hills Rd South) which
have some lower branches near enough to inspect leaves all showed signs
this week of current Lace Lerp activity - not all leaves but some earlier
growth mature leaves(i.e. not recovery leaves of a mature shape). However,
some of the rejuvenated mature leaves on one of the juveniles at the
cnr Leabons Land and Seven Hills Rd South have experienced Lace Lerp
activity in recent weeks.
Each of the
aforesaid observed leaves with Lace Lerp acitivity I subsequently sprayed with
White Oil two days ago.
Best
Wishes,
Wayne
