Greetings Cultural Research Network colleagues.
Due to ongoing challenges of the Google Groups email system, the CRN Steering Committee has decided to move the CRN email list to a different system. As of October 1, we’ll be using SimpleLists for all email list management and distribution. We will transfer your address over to the new system, and send a confirmation through BOTH systems on October 1.
If you’ve had to use an alternate email account to access the CRN list on Google Groups, you should be able to switch to your preferred address on the new system (instructions will be provided). If your colleagues have had trouble signing up to or using CRN, this should make things work for them.
The only significant change for you will be the address to which you mail your list messages. This will be announced on October 1.
The intent of this transition is to make the email discussion list more accessible, flexible, and reliable for all of you. We’ll be eager to get your feedback to be sure it’s delivering on that promise.
