The Office of the Senior Deputy Chairman, Office of Research & Analysis is seeking to fill the position of Program Analyst, GS-0343-13/14. This position opens today, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 and will close on Tuesday, July 2, 2014. This position is being advertised under the following authority:
Delegated Examining Unit (DEU); Announcement number NEA-TR-14-1146100 (DEU)
Merit Promotion (MP); Announcement number NEA-TR-14-1146101 (MP)
Delegated Examining Unit (DEU), is the authority that OPM grants to agencies to fill competitive civil service jobs with: Applicants applying from outside the Federal workforce; Federal employees who do not have competitive service status, or Federal employees with competitive service status.
If selected under the (DEU) authority applicants are required to serve a one year probationary period regardless if you are a current Federal employee or not.
Merit Promotion (MP), is the authority that OPM grants agencies to fill competitive positions within the Federal Government. You must be a Federal employee and have a tenure status of 1 (permanent) or tenure status of 2 (career conditional) in order to apply under this authority.
