This exhibition of rare maps illustrates the culture of cartography pertaining to India from a very early period to present day. Divided into sections such as Cosmology, Pilgrimage, City-Temples, early Encounter, Clash of Empires, Rise of the Raj, Cities/Urbanism, the exhibition gives a window into how India looks at itself, how rest of the world looks at India as well as how India looks at rest of the world.
