Hello  i live in Norway  i am 54 years old  i play keyboards.  i just have got a roland d50 ,and love it , i will do some recording for some months  and share , have got all sound cards to it too, great!  is there someone who can tell what software editor to roland d 50 to use on a imac 27" thanks.  glad to be here....  will put my d 50 songs at soundcloud...

Hello,  my name is Jim.  I have had my d50 for about 8 years, but always use the presets, not being able to figure out how to program sounds by the manual.  Recently bought a Hammond SK 1 which is very good, but the d50 can do many things the Hammond cannot.  I want to midi these instruments but need help.

Hello, I'm happy to have stumbled onto your site. I've been repairing, collecting, and making music with vintage analogue synths for years and didn't realize what I was missing until I was given a non-functioning D-50. Now that it's repaired I'm very excited to dig into it. So thanks for the resources - I'm especially excited to read the Roland D-50 Creative book.

Great initiative and thanks to make this website and forum. I have the D-50 and D-550 for 3 years now and they seem to amaze me over and over. They are a perfect combi with my JD-800 and JD-990. I'm a big fan of lush pads so I really love the Linear banks from CL-projects and the "Soundtracks" bank from Mark Rushbury :-))

Hola Facundo. Me llamo Jose Cosin. Vivo en Valencia (España). Me compré mi D50 en 1988 y lo utilicé mucho durante 15 años.Tengo las 4 Soundcards originales de Roland, Pero con el tiempo y la dificultad de trabajar con el sinte, acabaron por aburrirme de el. Hace tres años, intenté con varios programas, y un cable comprado en tiendas chinas (craso error) cambiar sonidos pero acabé abandonando. Hace unos meses, decidí comprar el cable original de Roland (que viene con drivers) y me he vuelto a enamorar de este prodigioso instrumento. Muchas gracias por compartir tus archivos. No sabia de lo que era capaz mi D50! Que maravilla. Tambien compré el PG1000, pero hay que saber manejarlo para sacarle partido, lo cual no es mi caso.
Ahora, no hago mas que buscar en internet, cualquier posible archivo sixex D50 que pueda encontrar. Repito! 1000 gracias por tu generosidad.

Hey Fucinda, you're doing a very nice job here, for all us the D'50 's lovers..
Esp. the ROLAND CREATIVE BOOK, is a rare (in Europe at least..) and it can help beginners 
and experiented users as well...The sounds of course..and i kinda loved the D-5O Radio idea..!!!

I have 2 Roland d50 and they have the same problem press on any key no sound let go and you get a sound for like half a sec and body knows what might be the problem bin looking on the net for a while and still no solution

Nice to meet you, Steve. I have the PG1000, too. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you get into it, you can make some pretty cool sounds!
