We have a lot of people waiting for their physical copies of The
Kerberos Club and Grim War, along with things they might have ordered
along with those books. If that's you, I have news.

We had a fair number of both books printed and shipped to the
warehouse. Unfortunately, I shipped them using the U.S. Postal
Service. The USPS handles most shipments perfectly well. But this was
not most shipments. Nearly all the books were so badly mauled that
they were not sellable. We'll probably release them later at a
discount for people who don't mind their books looking like crap, but
I won't ship them to people who paid full price.

We got a replacement batch printed and it went out last week. But I
blew it on this one too, because I hadn't given the printer the
warehouse's address. I thought I had, but I was wrong. So the printer
shipped the books straight to me. They got here Friday. This morning I
took them all to FedEx and shipped them by Fedex Ground to the
warehouse. They should get there this Friday. When they do, they'll
start shipping at long last to you.

So it's been one thing after another, but assuming Fedex is kind to
this shipment, we'll have the books in your hands next week.

Is the warehouse the IPR Warehouse? I can't wait to get them in my
store to sell them.

Glad to hear it! However, I'm afraid the current batch are going out
at full markup only -- it's a limited run so we can't afford to sell
them at a discount. The retail editions will be released by Cubicle 7:
Kerberos Club in February, then This Favored Land in March, then Grim
War in April.

Does this include the WT:EE rules?  I have been waiting on my copy since 09/03/09.

Argh. You're right. I'm sending instructions to send that and several
other orders out ahead since they're not waiting on the new books.

Yeah, I was thinking about ordering another copy; Amazon is out, so is it a good idea to hold off ordering from the Arc Dream website for a bit?

We have plenty of Essential Edition. You can get it from IPR's web
store or from Arc Dream's.

Any updates on this one? I guess I'm just getting a little frustrated
since I paid for GW/KC/WT2 at Origins 2008. /shrug

They should be shipping now. I put in an email Friday asking for a
report from the warehouse, so hopefully I'll know something Monday.

Thanks for the updates. I've been enjoying the Kerberos Club PDF, but
it'll be a lot easier for me to read in paper form. I also broke down
and ordered the hard copy of WT a week or so ago. I look forward to
getting these, but have patience because I know that this is demanding
job for you. Also, I'd rather have something done right than rushed.

Was there any word from the warehouse?

Yes. Believe it or not, there's room for still more aggravation and
delay in the world. We share a warehouse with IPR and Hero Games, and
our books came in right after several thousand copies of the latest
Champions core book. They've been slogging through that at the same
time as processing our (much smaller) deliveries and shipments. This
week, I hope against hope, we'll see progress.

I understand they've gotten a lot of the orders out now and are still
working on it. Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure if this is happening for others, but I just got an email from DOJ Logistics stating my ArcDream order has been shipped.

I just got my hard copy of Kerberos Club! Looks great!

I'll be reading it before I go to sleep.

I suspect that my hardcopy of WT will soon be arriving too.

That is something I was going to ask.

My order included WT 2nd Ed, and I've had a shipping email.
If that's shipping with everything else, brilliant! I just hadn't
heard anything about it being that soon.

Is it possible to confirm that?

The WT2 hardback is not yet printed, so I'll be surprised if it's
shipping. Can you forward to me privately the email that you got?

A lot of people ordered Grim War and Kerberos at the same time as the
WT2 hardback. For the ones in the U.S. who ordered that way, we're
going ahead and shipping the other books now even though the hardback
isn't out yet, as a "thank you" for your patience.

(Unfortunately international postage is too expensive to split up
orders going outside the U.S. in that way.)

Thanks for clarifying, Shane!

To be honest I'm fine with getting everything whenever WT 2nd Ed hits,
and I'm definitely International Postage.

I ordered the books all together to capitalise on a comparably strong
local dollar,
with the downside being waiting on delivery till everything was done.

I guess I went in with eyes open. (Of course, the dollar is stronger
now than
it was then, but a gamble is a gamble - and I ordered because I could
afford to.
*Shrug.*)
