hey Erin!

I"m so, so sorry about my article--I meant to e-mail you before but I really had the most ridiculous week with work (three papers + takehome midterm etc.). I am in touch with Rialto but am having trouble pinning down a definitive interview time, but i'm hoping to have the piece to you by the end of next week.....I'm actually running out to a formal right now but let me know if that definitely won't work and we can talk about it tomorrow.

Hey
I will get recipes to you by tomorrow night. Let me know if that's too
late and I'll try to do them before formal. The ones I tried in the
dhall on Thurs failed so I'm still searching for more. Let me know if
you have any ideas of what types of recipes you might like to see appear
and I'll figure out if they can work!

i too have to apologize: after much experimenting with hummus and d-
hall latkes, it turns out i am neither greek nor jewish. i don't
really want to talk about it.

instead i've been collecting recipes for favorite holiday dishes from
people's moms (mostly cookies so far). i could do something like the
interviews in last issue: little stories about where the recipes come
from/how sweet moms are.
