Hey team culinary newsletter,

Here's a recap from our meeting tonight!
The theme for our April issue is going to be Wine and Cheese. (AKA Freedom to indulge post spring break/Lent)

So far, our articles include:
A microwave risotto recipe - Erin
Maneshevitz (sp?) feature (Passover appropriate!) - Zoe
Talking Cheese with a Man who KNOWS Cheese (AKA interview with/focus on a cheese farmer) - Clem (sorry for title?)
Special on Legal Seafoods' Wine Offerings - Ronald

Articles will be due on the FIRST FRIDAY in April, the 4th.
Also, we now have funding from the UC (YAY!) so if you're writing a review, remember to keep a receipt, and we can hopefully get you reimbursed!

For those of you who missed the meeting, possible topics you could pick up are:
Trader Joe's wine focus
FORMAGGIO KITCHEN (Alex and Alison - I think we talked a little about this last time, so you guys can have 1st dibs!)/Review of places to get good cheese in the square (Cardullo's too)
History of Wine/Cheese
Focus on different kinds of cheese (How do they make goat cheese, etc?  What is the different between cheese made from goats v. cows?)
Planning a perfect wine and cheese event
Stinky Cheese Man Madlibs
HUDS recipes (Cooper, I'm lookin' at you, kid)
Interview with L'espalier's sommelier (or a sommelier at another restaurant) - ambitious but could be amazing!

Email me (emi...@fas.harvard.edu - not the list!!!) to pick up articles!

I'd ideally like to do the FK review, but I would totally do the TJ's
wine thing too... or perhaps a broader survey of places to get wine
near here?

Hey guys,

Great news: I just edited our google groups settings so that when you press reply, emails will no longer go to the entire list!  (I've been guilty of this mistake myself far too many times...)
Hooray!
