I've done some, admittedly brief, Google search and haven't turned
anything up, so I thought I'd post a quick question: Is anyone using
Cucumber/Cuke4Duke to test JRules out of Eclipse?

I assume it's possible if JRules supports JUnit, but I'm not super
familiar with JRules.

I appreciate any assistance/links/pointers.

It's called cucumber-jvm now: https://github.com/cucumber/cucumber-jvm

I assume you mean this?

(never heard of it)

What do you mean by "supports JUnit"?

Thanks for the update to cucumber-jvm. I put together doc a long time
ago and the company is finally coming around to trying BDD testing in
our agile development process. Looks like I'll need to make some
updates.

Yes, your link to the IBM webpage is the animal.

By 'supports' I mean it's possible to test JRules using JUnit. So far
the only testing utility I've been able to locate for JRules is an
internal IBM tool called DVS. This appears to utilize JUnit under the
hood but I'm not entirely certain. I was hoping to find someone who
was either using cucumber to test JRules or had tried and found out it
didn't work.

Jeff, it's been a while since I saw the IBM marketing spiel, and I have had a chance to work with the JRules tools yet, but what I remember
is that the rules can be initialized, fed data, and triggered from arbitrary Java code. If so, then there's no reason you couldn't do all that from
Cucumber.

(Unless your talking about their CEP offering, in which case things are completely different.)

Rob,

Thanks for the info. Turns out the previous project team was
using FitNesse to test JRules. We're going to take a look at their
framework and decide whether to switch to Fit or reverse engineer and
use cuke.
