• Learn something new (yes, it’s totally okay to talk about something you’re still figuring out!)
• Practice public speaking in a friendly environment
• Meet other folks who love open source geospatial tools as much as you do
• Your talk doesn’t need to be polished or formal—some ideas:
• Share a tool or dataset you've been exploring
• Walk us through a map you made recently
• Start a discussion about something you'd like to learn more about
• Rehearse a talk you’re preparing for a larger event
