Hello,
I'm reaching out on behalf of the Society for Geography and Data Science

GeoDat "Hackathon": OpenStreetMap and the use Open Source
Data
Saturday, May 4th 3:30-5:00 PM at the
UW
Historically, GeoDat has hosted an annual
hackathon. This year we wanted to do a more workshop-style event involving a
collaborative project. Our theme is open source data and we will be playing
around with OSM. We are looking for a guest speaker who has used OpenStreetMap
and/or has an interest in the different uses of open spatial data.
If you or one of your members are interested in being part of these
events, please let me know. The events are pretty low-stakes since our club is
small. Many of our members are new or still learning about the field, so any
knowledge you can share is appreciated.
Feel free to pass on this message and share my email contact :)
Best,
Emma
