I got this request from a stranger; unfortunately Matt and I are both too busy to help him, but I did offer to pass it along to CUGOS.  The only additional things I know beyond the content of the email are that they want the work done before the end of August, and it sounds like they're in more of a hurry than that because they're somewhat blocked by the problem.

Hi Eldan,

I got your email from Matt Stevenson. He suggested that you may be able to help me, though he did hint that you may be pretty booked out.

I'm a developer at Mapdid, which is a site where people can order high-quality printed maps. Users can select any location and zoom level, drop pins and photos, and then request a print in different sizes and materials.

We've been using mapbox-gl-native, but we're hitting some of the bugs in it. Since it's no longer supported we tried to use maplibre-gl-native, but that has issues as well. Mostly, we're facing bugs related to label positioning and label cutoffs.

I'm looking for someone who can dig a bit deeper into either of these libraries and fix these issues for us.

Is it something you can help with? If not, do you know someone who could?

Thank you!
Pedro
