If anyone is interested in teaching GIS courses this fall, these could be good opportunities. The minimum requirements are a BS in a geography-related field plus ~5 years work experience with (sadly) ArcGIS.

There are a number of part-time instructor position openings available in the UW Professional & Continuing Education non-credit program Certificate in Geographic Information Systems
Examine geographic information systems and their diverse workplace applications. Learn how these systems are used to support research and decision-making in a wide variety of fields.
Specifically, we are looking for people to fill the following course positions in the in-person section of the program that is taught on the UW Seattle Campus in the GIS lab of the UW Geography Department:
Autumn 2024 Principles of Cartography & Thematic Design
             GIS Data & Database Design
Winter 2025  GIS Project Planning & Implementation  
Spring 2025   GIS in Practice in the Pacific Northwest
