Hi everyone,

Consider submitting a proposal for the CUGOS Fall Fling in November, and please share with colleagues or groups who might be interested in speaking! You can propose a 20-minute presentation or a 5-minute lightning talk.

You can check the Fall Fling page for the latest event updates: https://cugos.org/2025-fall-fling/.

Thanks,

About the Fall Fling

Please join the Cascadia Users of Geospatial Open Source (CUGOS) for an exciting one-day conference bringing together academics professionals, students, and enthusiasts for a series of talks about open source geospatial, pedestrian/bike/transit access, and social justice in and beyond the Cascadia region.

If you have developed with Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) for geospatial applications, participated in a project that uses geospatial FOSS, developed civic technology, or collected open geospatial data, we invite you to participate by sending your proposal.

The Call for Proposals is open until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 30th.
