Hi everyone,
One advance bit of news about the CUGOS Fall Fling: we've extended our
Call for Proposals deadline to
tomorrow, October 15th at 11:59 PM! I will remind everyone again tomorrow evening, but why not get ahead of the last-minute panic and submit beforehand :)
As a reminder, we're looking for 20-minute tech talks or 5-minute lightning talks related to open-source geospatial software, applications, or teaching. We have a few conference themes emerging from submitted talks, although all areas are welcome:
- New geospatial tools and workflows, including working with LLMs
- Mapping health and healthcare access
- Environmental science and research and applications
- Mapping the energy transition
- Teaching open-source GIS
Please let me know if you have any questions, and see you at the meeting tomorrow!
Cheers,
Nat
