Hi ,  I've only used my Cue Sheet app a hand full of times but have encountered a couple problems while using the app
On occasion I will be riding down a road on the route that I have set in the app.  Suddenly, the road makes an unexpected hard turn from the main road ( which continues to go straight ahead ).  Cue Sheet will not prompt me when this happens. I figure the only reason that's so is because technically I would be on the same road if I did see the turn.  Odd it is when the road you are riding down suddenly changes names/directions out of the blue YET continues to go straight ahead under a different name. Apparently this is not so unusual when on country back roads. This happened twice to me on the same day.  The only reason I knew I was off course was that I sensed something wrong and turned the map display on only to see I was no longer on track.

Similar to the problem above I've approached a 4-way intersection where my planned route has me continuing straight. The problem is that Cue Sheet tells me to make a left and then an immediate right ( or something to that effect ). when really all I have to do is cross the road and go straight.  I figure it's doing this because once I cross the road the road then changes names and this somehow throws off how Cue Sheet gives its prompts. What it should be telling me is , "Continue straight ahead onto Such and Such Rd.".  Once again, if you have the display on you know where to go by looking at the map but sure would be nice if the voice prompt got the directions more clear.

There is mention in the Cue Sheet Google app ad of a warning that is suppose to be given when you go off course.  I have yet to see this work. Perhaps I am missing something. I am using the Pro version which I downloaded around the start of the summer.. I'm also reading that apparently Cue Sheet NOW has the ability to download the entire map information for a complete ride ( no need for cell connection on route ) I don't think my version does this. Do I need to upgrade my "Cue Sheet? I haven't used mine in a while.     R. Wilson

Robert,
Thanks for reporting the issues here. Cue Sheet get's all it's navigation from the Rides you enter on RideWithGPS.com so I don't have much control over the issues you mentioned about the incorrect turns and no warning when the road name changes or you need to stay straight, etc. However, the good news is that is very easy to fix in your RideWithGPS.com rides. The trick is to be careful when you are clicking out a route on the map on the website, make sure you don't click on intersections, but just on straight road. I've noticed that sometimes people will click on an intersection and they will accidently click up on the crossroad for a couple hundred yards. This will cause RideWithGPS to think you mean to turn onto that crossroad, the do a U-Turn and continue.

You can even add additional cue sheet entries on the RWGPS web site for things like stay-straight or continue or "be careful the road name changes". However, I've noticed that the routes around where I ride that have road name changes RWGPS rides normally pick that up.  Please feel free to send me a link to a ride that has one of these problems and I'll take a look at it.

Finally, YES you should update your CueSheet app to get the new features.

-Geoff
