I have a route on RideWithGPS that takes me in a loop via a special climb I want to do later today.  I just edited the route slightly and so wanted to re download the route on to my phone (Nexus 5).  So I deleted it from the phone (hold finger in downloaded route until request pops up asking to confirm delete).  After selecting the edited route from My Rides, it opened up, but failed to show any cue points or the route on the map, and the start nav button was "greyed out".  Even after awaiting a few minutes this didn't change.

I could go to other routes, and these would download successfully.

In the end I went into settings and "Force Stopped" the application.  When I restarted it, it did then load up the route correctly, taking no more than a few seconds to do so.

This is using version 2.315, and I have the voice extensions installed.

Other than this little glitch, I have been succcessfully using Cue Sheet for some time now.  I originally used it on a Nexus 7 tablet, but since acquiring the Nexus 5 phone, I am now using that.  Even a 3 hour ride with both Strava and Cue Sheet running continously doesn't appear to dent the battery.

Like others have said (and I have send previously on this forum about 4 months ago) the main niggle I have with this app is when going off route and voice prompts stop even though I have got back on route. What appears to happen is that it positions me as heading towards the very first waypoint, and since I never get there it has nothing to prompt for.  I get round this my manually forwarding my position as heading towards the next waypoint I know I am going to hit, but this is quite a pain because the phone is normally carried in my back jersey pocket with an earpiece running up inside the back of by gillet into my ears.  To manually reset it means stopping, untangling myself from the earpiece and using the screen to get me to the correct place, before resetting the phone and earpiece back up again.

I know you have said that you have difficulty determining the next waypoint in an out and back route, but just chosing the nearest waypoint (to current position) after the last known passed waypoint would be a better default that the first waypoint on the route, which is what happens now.   That would work for me in the vast majority of cases.

Other than that, a great app

Thanks for letting us know about the problem you had updating the route and the work around that you found. That is something I'll look into. Based on your input, perhaps I'll look into being more aggressive about a "return to route" option and as soon as I come up with something less annoying than the current situation I'll put it out there for BETA users and let you know. Also, you can press on the text of the directions on the map, have it show you the cue sheet (traditional list of turns) and then click on what you know to be your next turn to select it, and the press "Show on map" so you don't have to have it announce the turns all the way through the ride up until that point. That's good news about the Nexus and battery and I hope you enjoy that hill.
