The latest build with the New Icon just went out. We'll refine the icon over time. It's a bicycle wheel + tire over a map of the world with a Navigation Icon on it.

The big new feature is the ability to pre-download maps. Now you can save on data and battery while you are out on the road. Just select download map from the ride details page. Thanks to the good folks at RideWithGPS.com for hosting the map server.

Geoff...this newest Pro version looks fabulous...Lots of GREAT improvements in appearance and user interface...thank you!  'Looking forward to trying it today with the pre-downloaded maps...which brings me to my questions:  I have an S3 and installed the micro SD card last night and downloaded the map for my route.  It took several minutes on my wireless home network as was expected.  After completing the download, I used the "files" app to inspect the SD card and was surprised to see that no files, even hidden files were deposited on the new SD card nor could I find them on the on-board sd card.
.
Question#1: Should I be able to see the map files on the new or on-board SD card?

Question#2: After downloading, a dialog is displayed instructing the user to enable the OSM map service hosted by rwgps.com.  If the maps are already on the phone, I don't understand why the rwgps service is required.  Could you briefly explain why this is required and how it actually works.

Again, many thanks for continuing to elevate the quality of this unique application.

OHBikeDude,
Thanks for trying the app. I hope you have some great rides with it.
Q1: Most phones with SD cards also have Internal memory. Sometimes the Internal memory is referred to as USB Storage because it's accessible to a computer if you hook connect the phone to a desktop/laptop computer with a USB Cable. Right now Cue Sheet just uses the default "External Storage". Which on your device is probably the internal/USB storage. I'm planning to allow the user to choose between the SD card and USB storage if both are available in a future version.
Q2: You have to choose that type of map because CueSheet pre-caches tiles from RWGPS. I'm not allowed to pre-cache Google maps.
