I have a robot with RobotWare 5.15, and I want to add RW5.15 to my RobotStudio 2020. RW versions this old don't install automatically, like later versions. There are more steps. I have the RW 5.15 files, I run the windows installer, and I don't see them in the add-ins tab. I'm sure someone knows what I'm taking about, and there's a simple step that I'm missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's ok I am able to open my 5.15 backup after installing rw 5.16. Just I found a little bit strange that in the add ins menu all let you think that the installation will be automatic.. I have a question, if I modify the rapid program offline in robot studio, will I be able to generate a backup and load it in the robot ? And keep the current configuration of course thanks for your help
In 5.13, both PC SDK and FlexPendant SDKs were provided as separate products.Starting from 5.14 to 5.15 RobotStudio installs PC SDK and FlexPendant SDK side by side with previouslyinstalled versions of PC SDK. PC SDK assemblies were installed in the Global AssemblyCache (GAC) till 5.15.
These versions are available on the RobotWare 5.15.07.01 DVD and the RobotWare 5.61.02 DVD. The RobotWare 5.15.07.01 DVD and the RobotWare 5.61.02 DVD are available for download at the following hyperlink:
