This post on Reddit illustrates the same problem that I have. The only solution that was recommended was to put all daily notes in the same folder. If this is my only option, what are some ways to reorganize my daily notes?
I use my own version of the link below, allowing all the daily notes to be listed in the calendar while maintaining a year and month folder structure that is automatically generated when notes are created:
Thank you both for your helpful responses! I have moved to the Google Calendar plugin since I was looking to integrate my Google Calendar into obsidian, and changing my date format to what @anon63144152 suggested allowed for all the daily notes to appear in the calendar.
Hi @Renārs0 , We had a similar discussion in another thread where Hosts discussed their feedback about Calendar notes. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about it.
I am leaving the link to that thread, in case you wanted to explore what other members think : -about-your-listing/Calendar-note-missing-from-the-calendar-v....
I dont want cool, I really need the notes back and not showing prices on my calendar. I am so frustrated with this new very useless calendar, is there anyway one can have the old version back? Or download an older version of the app?
I did but it doesnt help me in what I need to do and its basically useless! I have several listings and need to share it with housekeeping but I cant share it as is and my notes are vital! Super super frustrated!
This is a massive pain point for me right now. I don't want to update the event notes on all attendees calendars - I just want to add some private personal notes about the meeting to my calendar event for myself. I have this feature in Calendly under "Scheduled Events", but not if I book an event using someone's Calendly link. IN that case, it simply places the event on my Google Calendar and uses the integration to make me unavailable for Calendly bookings during that time.
- Only the workouts which are activities as mentioned above show in the mobile app (on both iOS and Android) and as far as i can see there is NO way to see the notes for the optional or non-workout entries
- Only the activities which are intervals/long runs etc are able to be started from my watch and in order to do so i have to go through run>training calendar. Nothing shows up in the Calendar widget of my Fenix 5S Plus.
There must be a better way for this to be set up so the optional activities are activities you can start, they actually show up in the mobile app calendar at all, and workout information for activities already showing is visible in the calendar when it is published and viewed through GMail/another calendar app.
I agree. Same for me on FR645m. I would like to go to one place on my watch for all planned training plan exercises. Cross training, yoga & rest/optional activities are only notes in Garmin Connect calendar and do not appear to show on my watch. This make the training plans less useful as I have to look in multiple places.
What is going on Garmin? This question has been circulating for years as seen here. This is so simple. The calendar in the mobile app should be able to display all information fro:the calendar on the web site. Just do it already.
When you choose to print the Notes section in a calendar, the printed area does not include any notes that are in your Notes folder, or the Notes fields in any of the appointment or meeting items in the Calendar folder.
I would like to be able to link to another file, such as an online Word document, from the calendar invite that only I can see. This means, instead of searching through directories for the document, I open the invite (which I'm going to do anyway to see the body of the calendar) and be able to click a link that takes me to the file I've "associated" with that invite (be it a one off invite or series)
@Bmosbacker I see in your notes you have templates, how do you have that set up? I want to make a couple templates for stuff I have, but not sure how to do it. Is there a way I can type stuff in it or do I need to copy and paste the template???

Microsoft Outlook Calendar is a powerful tool that helps you manage your events, appointments, and meetings in a single, organized location. Now that you know Microsoft Outlook Calendar and its note-taking capabilities, you can utilize these features to be more efficient and prepared for your events, meetings, and appointments. Remember, adding notes and keeping them organized is crucial for staying on top of your schedule and ensuring that you have all the necessary information for all of your calendar commitments.
To add notes to your Microsoft Outlook Calendar, you first need to create a calendar event. Start by opening your Outlook application and navigate to the Calendar section, usually located at the bottom-left corner of the application.
After filling out the necessary information, you can add notes to your event. In the event window, there should be a large text box where you can type your notes or additional information. You can use this space to draft an agenda, list action items, or jot down important discussion points.
Feel free to format your notes using the available formatting options like bold text, bullet points, and numbered lists to ensure they are organized and easily readable. You can even insert tables or images if necessary to better convey your message.
Once you have added your notes and formatted them as needed, click Save & Close to save your event with the included notes. Now, when you view your Outlook Calendar, you will see the event containing your notes, which can help you stay organized and informed about your tasks and commitments.
Remember, adding notes to your Outlook Calendar events can help you stay organized, manage tasks more efficiently, and keep track of important information. Following these steps, you can easily add notes to your calendar events professionally.
3. Within your calendar note you can add the following: title, description, date, determine the color, and a cadence
Sure there are other ways, probably a lot more intelligent ways, to solve the problem we were facing. In a nutshell, we wanted a calendar that would give us a feel for the upcoming publishing month at a glance and the ability to move things around.
We have a user that is unable to open the calendar from the open menu in Lotus Notes 8.5 fp 2, it will open her mail archive. I had this happen so another user a few months back and was able to fix it but I do not remember what I did and searching Google is not helping at all. If I right click on the Calendar and click on a replica I am able to open the calendar that way but just clicking on the link will open the archive like I mentioned earlier. Any help is greatly appreciated.
In your meeting view, you can see all the events in your calendar, but no one else will be able to see your entire calendar. They will only be able to see the events that they are also invited to. Meetings notes are only accessible if the following two criteria are met:
To clarify, for a 1-on-1 only the manager and the direct report will be able to see those notes. In a meeting, by default, only internal meeting attendees (ones on the calendar invite) will be able to see the contents of the notes. Their avatars will appear at the top of the note.
Workspace Admins do not have any special privileges and cannot see your notes or your calendar events. They can only see those notes to which they have access via the permissioning mechanism described above.
If you have invited a third party/external attendee to the meeting, by default they will not be able to access the notes within Fellow. If they click the Fellow link in the calendar invite, they will just be brought to a Fellow log-in page.
I try to track the time I use for projects by adding the project id as a category to a lotus notes calendar entry. Now I want to select all appointments over a time range (i.e. the last 7 days), group them by category and sum up the time.Except for the time range thingy it works fine. The solution seams to be the method GetAllDocumentsByKey ( _designer/9.0.1/appdev/H_GETALLDOCUMENTSBYKEY_METHOD.html)I tried to define a time range, a string (subject or category) or an array (values: subject or category) as keyArray but nothing seams to work.
I thought it would be really nice to be able to insert a "calendar" , you can choose the start date and end date which will result in an table created automatically where you can put critical info into the date boxes.
