Thanks a lot for sharing a few snaps taken during the  recent family meet with Rev. Binayda and Parthada. 

Ranen,is it possible to shift the proposed event NEWS-2013 in the last week of December ?  I hope this slot would be suitable for most of our batchmates who stay outside kolkata ( due to Christmas holiday ) . Pl consider if there is no specific reasons.

          In the month of May 2013 we meet amongst ourselves (1987 Batch of Dept of  Chemical Engineering,Calcutta University,only) with families.The time was too short to give a call to everybody who had passed out from our esteemed department.Hence we missed out a no of people passed out from our department .We feel privileged as our respected Professor Sh Binay K Dutta & Sh Partha Roy have joined with us on that occasion .

          In FUNGAMA'13 myself from Western part of India went to meet my batch mates in Eastern part but this time we want that people from South and North too join with us in NEWS (North +East+West+South) irrespective of his/her location at present with respect to India.This time we are planning to celebrate  "NEWS 2013" on 10.11.2013 with all of our 1987 batch mates as well as we want other batches to join with us along with their families at Kolkata.Our Professor Sh Binayda expressed his willingness to meet with all of us ( Dept of Chemical Engineering irrespective of the year passed ).

            We need to know the exact no of persons going to attend the function as the cost will be distributed among the participants exclusive of the Guest Professors.Request to all of you  to circulate it to among our batch mates as well as  who have passed out from our department (irrespective of the year passed out)so that we can plan about the programme to make a "NEWS"

           The whole thing will be possible only if you all lend helping hands .So,do not hesitate to call our batchmates as well as others and inform me with all details of them.

                                              HOPE WE  ALL WILL JOIN TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE "NEWS 2013"
