Hello CER folks;

Laurie Landon and I will be practicing a mini workshop that we will be giving at the PhysTec conference next weekend.  We are not posting any readings before Mar 13, but we may post some follow up readings after the mini workshop.  Here is the abstract from our workshop.

In Spring 2012, we implemented a new “teaching and learning chemistry” course that targets our growing community of future chemistry teachers, current teachers, and future faculty. It is designed to strengthen participants’ chemistry content knowledge and provides them with experience implementing curricular frameworks that use data and evidence to build student understanding of chemistry. Workshop participants will engage in an investigation used in the course, and we will discuss how outcomes from Spring 2012 have informed this semester's implementation.
