I think Harold may be our only Mason. I’m reading a book about the Freemasons now. Learning a lot. The “Free” comes from freestone, the softer stone on the outer surface of medieval cathedrals that could be carved. Freemasons were paid more than the masons that worked with harder stone. I didn’t realize it was so connected to England, but lodges were formed in Continental Europe as well.

What are your plans for your 80th, Harold?

Harold, I still remember time spent with you & your wonderful Mom in your house on Shotwell!
She was a an incredible teacher. I will never  forget her giving me a plane geometry textbook in the summer & telling me if I would study it I would breeze thru the class in Sept.
I did & I did …. So grateful for her thoughtfulness & her guidance.
