Notice to friends and those who loved her.
My Mother Marje Andrews went to be with the Lord on September 17 late on Saturday afternoon. She quietly took her last breath with her son Rad and granddaughter Emme Lindquist Nichols and her husband Phillip looking on. Soon the rest of the family who were there in the house, joined hands to sing the Doxology, “Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise Him ye creatures here below. Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost… Amen.” How could we do otherwise for a Mom who had been lent to us for 97 years minus a few days?
We will celebrate her life and legacy on Sunday October second at 3 PM at First Evangelical Church in Memphis, Tennessee. A private family burial will take place in Memorial Gardens at 12:30 of the same day. Visitation also will take place on Saturday, October the first, from 10 to 1 at First Evangelical.
Many of you knew her and enjoyed her for many years, and I wanted to let you know of our loss and heaven’s gain. A fuller obituary notice will be sent out when it is completed. It is a feat, only the Lord can navigate, to get the huge number of descendants and relatives together in this time of history. She has been our Queen and has joined England’s queen as they both confessed and shewed by their lives that their hope and trust was in the Savior who lived and died for them. Those of us who affirm the same look forward to His promised return.
Because of this we can grieve with hope!

She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. I was over to their house quite a few times when they lived in midtown. Chubby taught me how to taxidermy. He also was my Sunday school teacher at First Evan. The size of the family is absolutely amazing and a wonderful tribute to her and Chubby.
