It is a nice irony that Smith’s father made his money with buses while Fred made it with airplanes. Perhaps the next generation will use space ships. I found a letter from the father to Mr Crump complaining about taxes on the transportation industry. Crump wrote back saying the companies should be paying higher taxes.
